Please be aware that there is a recall on hand sanitizer product manufactured by our facility labelled with the brand name Protectenol. This recall is affecting a small portion of product with the following lot numbers: 20-070, 20-2083, 20-366, 20-367, 20-368, 20-369, 20-370, 20-371, 20-372, 20-373.
The ethanol supplied to our company used in the manufacture of these batches was an industrial grade ethanol that was not authorized by Health Canada for use in hand sanitizer. Frequent use of these products may result in dry skin, causing irritation or cracking. For more information please visit Health Canada’s Website.
If you have any of these lot numbers please contact us at sanitizer@appliedlubrication.com to replace your product.
ALT will also be contacting customers in regards to relabelling some hand sanitizer product produced due to the use of technical grade ethanol which requires additional warning labels on the product.
