Applied Lubrication Technology’s Chain Lube C845 is specially formulated to be a more environmentally friendly lubricant as compared to solvent based chain lubricants and is compatible with water-based cathodic dip coatings. The formulation includes a water-soluble synthetic fluid, offering exceptional hydrodynamic lubrication capabilities, enabling C845 to be used on a wide variety of chain types, including Caterpillar drive chains. Chain Lube C845 has a high water content essentially eliminating any fire hazard. Chain Lube C845 can be applied to chains at temperatures up to approximately 194°F (90°C). Chain Lube C845 contains a water soluble molybdenum disulfide which works to reduce friction, wear and energy consumption and provides boundary lubrication and dry film protection for applications up to 315 °F (600°C).
Chain Lube C845 is specifically designed to be applied by Applied Lubrication’s automated lubrication system.

Although this product has been specifically developed for the lubrication of conveyor chains using a programmable, automatic, application system, the lubricant can also be used for the lubrication of many different mechanical devices, such as; Bearings, Gears, Sprockets, Hinges, Firearms, Linkages, Threads, Slides, Cables, Locking Mechanisms, etc.
Chain Lube C845 is available in 18.9 Liter (5 Gallon) pails, 200 Liter (53 Gallon) drums, and 1200 Liter (317 Gallon) totes.
