Chain Lube 845

Chain Lube 845 was developed to be a more environmentally friendly lubricant compared to solvent-based chain lubricants. Chain Lube 845 has a high water content, which essentially eliminates any fire hazard. Furthermore, any volatiles emitted by Chain Lube 845 are water vapour as opposed to solvent vapours, which are hazardous to the environment. Chain Lube 845 contains a water-soluble molybdenum disulfide that works to reduce friction, wear and energy consumption. The molybdenum disulfide also provides boundary lubrication and dry film protection.

Chain Lube 845 can be applied to chains at temperatures from ambient up to 90°C (194°F), but the dry film can lubricate at temperatures up to 315°C (600°F).

Chain Lube 845 was specially formulated to be applied by ALT’s automated lubrication systems.
