Applied Lubrication Technology’s Chain Lube 845 is specially formulated to be a more environmentally friendly lubricant as compared to solvent based chain lubricants. Chain Lube 845 has a high water content essentially eliminating any fire hazard. Chain Lube 845 can be applied to chains at ambient to approximately 194°F (90°C). Furthermore any volatiles emitted by Chain Lube 845 are water vapor as opposed to solvent vapors which are hazardous to the environment. Chain Lube 845 contains a water soluble molybdenum disulfide which works to reduce friction, thus reducing wear and energy consumption. The molybdenum disulfide also provides boundary lubrication, and dry film protection.
Chain Lube 845 is specifically designed to be applied by Applied Lubrication’s automated lubrication system.
