Applied Lubrication Technology’s Chain Lube 1080, is made from complex ester base stocks and additives that optimize the performance and stability the lubricant. It is a long lasting lubricant at high temperatures up to 500oF, leaving very little varnish or carbon residue. This lubricant will also soften carbon residue that may have been left from previous lubricants. Its wetting and penetrating capability loosens barrels and links which have heavy deposits and no longer spin or move freely. The temperature ranges for this lubricant range from ambient up to 500°F.
Chain Lube 1080 is especially formulated to be applied by ALT’s automated lubrication systems.
|Chain Lube GFP||Typical Properties|
|Viscosity||150 cSt @ 40°C (104°F)|
|Flash Point (COC)||min. 271°C (520°F)|
Chain Lube 1080 can also be used for the lubrication of many different mechanical systems such as; bearings, gears, sprockets, hinges, firearms, linkages, threads, slides, cables, locking mechanisms and more. Although, this product has been specifically developed for the lubrication of conveyor chains, its chemical composition makes it suitable for many other applications.
Chain Lube 1080 is available in 18.9 Liter (5 Gallon) Pails and 200 Liter (53 Gallon) Drums.
